Ok, I don't understand Rosalina anymore
She's showing up in everything now, Mario Kart, Mario 3D World, and even moving out of her series in to Smash in just a few years. And you know what? I'm ok with that. I like her as a character, I'm happy Nintendo is promoting her. But there's one thing missing from all of this: what are they promoting?
Usually when you promote a character that much it's to sell something. Well, I just got back from Nintendo World in NYC (by the way, that place would make a pretty cool stage, but that's another discussion) and there was absolutely NOTHING with Rosalina on it. No t-shirts. No hats. No 3DS or WiiU accessories. Not even Luma plushies. They had a bunch of pins of Mario characters, and I asked if there were more not being displayed but there was still no Rosalina.
Look Nintendo, Rosalina's a really cool character. I do like seeing her in Smash, but if you're going to promote her this much, at least try to sell me something with her on it because I will buy it, and if there's no merchandise after all this promoting, then the promoting is pretty much in vain. Put her in Smash, just give me a pin of her to put with my Diddy Kong one.
And that's my Nintendo rant for the day.
